The Hawkins Hawks baseball team defeated the Beckville Bearcats by a score of 5-0.

Pitching for the Hawks was Zach Conde.  Conde threw a complete 7 inning shutout, racking up a total of 16 strikeouts, 1 base on balls, and 2 hits.

At the plate the Hawks were led by Jayden Dacus and Zach Conde, who each had 1 hit.  Dacus’ hit came off of a suicide squeeze bunt that started the 5 run rally for the Hawks in the bottom on the 5th.

The Hawkins baseball team competed against the Quitman Bulldogs last night and walked away with a 17-0 victory.

Pitching for the Hawks was Zach Conde and Paeton Smith.  Conde and Smith ended up with 11 strikeouts, 3 hits, and 0 runs scored.

At the plate the Hawks up were led by Zach Conde with 3 hits and 4 RBI’s.
