The Lady Hawks opened up district play with a 33-31 victory over Union Grove and remain undefeated on the season.
The Lady Hawks used a balanced attack Tuesday night to pull off the victory. Makena Warren led Hawkins in scoring with 9 points. Logan Jaco added 8 points and Lynli Dacus had six points and 11 rebounds. Jaco had 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Jordyn Warren added five points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals for the Lady Hawks. Tenley Conde and Laney Wilson both scored 2 points each. Conde added 3 rebounds.
