Band earns sweepstakes rating at contest

On April 17, the band performed at the Region 4 UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest in Mt Pleasant. They received 1st Division ratings, the highest rating available, for performing Newcastle March by Vinson, The Two Minute Symphony by Margolis, and Into The Arctic by Balmages. This is the first time more than 15 years that the band has received a 1st Division from all 6 judges.
